designer of the week

23 Oct

You may have noticed those fancy banners on the side of my blog for a little while now, advertising the amazing MAKE IT shows in both Vancouver and Edmonton. I am stoked to yet again be a part of these exhibitions, selling my handmade creations to nature and animal lovers! designerI was flattered when the Make It team contacted me to be featured on their blog as the Designer of the Week! It’s always awesome to represent a wicked event, and also garner some added exposure. Click here to read the feature.

it’s paper dear interview

5 Sep

If you haven’t ever heard of the beautiful Zie Campbell  (@ziedarling) or her awesome project it’s paper dear, then today is your lucky day! This creative cat not only writes a lovely blog but monthly she also puts together sets of specialty boxes filled with paper art and stationery from various international artists that then get sent to her many it’s paper dear subscribers. I had the honor of being interviewed for “Talk Shop” on her blog, having shared some of my goods in both the August and September boxes. I will also be sharing another post (most likely about printmaking) with her readers later this month. Click here to read my interview and here to learn more about it’s paper dear.

a beautiful life… 7 questions & a giveaway

20 Jun

It is a beautiful life isn’t?! That’s why I love Liv (the pretty little thing seen above) who uses her gorgeous blog to celebrate all things beautiful in life: big, small and every feeling in between. I met this vivacious blogger at the OOAK show back in December where she especially oohed and aahed over my etching of two wolves, Encomium. After chatting for a bit afterwards via e-mail and twitter we intended to do a little blog feature, but the beginning of 2012 flew by us both far too fast! Luckily we are now both ready to seize summer and so we finally got this lovely feature in order.  Liv ( wrote some very kind words about my work and interviewed me with some really interesting and different questions; it is worth the read! Plus I sent Liv some Nature’s My Friend goodies so be sure to also enter the great giveaway she is hosting. And if you can’t wait for a giveaway to end before you get your paws on some of my artwork, then be sure to read the article so that you can spot a discount code for your purchase from my etsy shop!
