postal pretties

11 Jul

Sent a big pile of mail out at the beginning of last month, and shared a few of them in this post here. Here’s a peek at a few more of the pretty paper parcels that landed in some of my penpals’ postboxes. DSCN0012 DSCN0013 DSCN0002 DSCN0006 DSCN0005Sent with love to: Jillian Hermansen, Julie Merilatt & Shari Taft.

*A little mail art side note for all of my penpals: my mail will be forwarded from my old address to my new one for the next 4 months, so feel free to send envelopes there or e-mail me to get the new one. xo

So cool–I didn’t know the PO would deliver with stamps arranged like that, but I love them! The cards themselves are gorgeous too. Would be lovely to get!

Thanks Rosemaryandrock! I use vintage postage, so all of the denominations are small… therefore I need to use multiple stamps in order to have the correct cost of a letter (for example to send within Canada, it is currently $0.63) The Post Office really isn’t that picky, as long as your address is legible and your stamps are somewhere on the front. The cards feature Canadian animals and were made by an illustrator friend of mine named Gabe Wong.
