autumn in the air

1 Sep

I’ve decided to celebrate the arrival of fall instead of the death of summer. There are things I really enjoy about this season: the rusty orange golds that emerge from the green, a slower and more reflective pace, the chance to wear my soft colorful scarves again and the cool evening air that reminds me I’m living amongst the mountains. There are also some other things to smile about: a pretty new autumnal header here on the blog and in the etsy shop plus new opportunities to participate and get involved with my blog. I’d love to have you be a bigger part of the on-goings here at nature’s my friend, so please do check out the new sponsor + participate page. Happy autumn my friends!

Miss Jessica, I must agree…I absolutely believe in celebrating fall. (Not only is it lovely to be outside in, but I’m not exactly a “summer” kind of gal. Bugs. Big bugs. Ick.) Your new header is fab-u-lous, of course, and I’m looking forward to all of the fun things you have planned for your blog. It always puts a smile on my face. ;)
Have a fantastic weekend, my dear. xo

The new header is adorable! Love the little bear and the brightly colored autumn leaves. Fall hasn’t really arrived here yet but I know it’s coming soon. Especially as I send my kids back to school, I know the colder weather is just around the corner. Happy Autumn!

[…] I started celebrating autumn at the beginning of September, the true cool air and orangey red leaves showed up just over a week […]
