emerging from the white

3 Aug

I’ve been hard at work this week, getting everything prepared for the annual Columbia Valley Tour of the Arts in Invermere this weekend. The past few days I have been focused on finishing a few drawings, and this one is almost there. There is something so satisfying about sitting down with only a pencil and paper, and watching a creature emerge from the white. A bit more work still needs to be done to this portrait, but this gorgeous wolf has already started to steal my heart.

That is incredibly gorgeous! As someone with no talent for drawing, I can’t even convey how beautiful and impressive that is. I’m glad you’re using your gift — and sharing it with all of us. :)
