keeping my friends safe

24 Apr

My generous friend Barbara Wanhill (@2catsandapencil) sent me a wonderful gift in her first mail art package to me. I had forgotten about it in a pile of things on my desk all winter, until I heard an all too familiar thud this morning. That heart wrenching sound made me dig up her gift and finally put it to proper use…You can hardly notice them when looking out the window and I have a huge feeling of relief knowing birdies in my frontyard can see where they’re going now. A big thanks goes out to Barbara for helping me keep my feathered friends safe! To keep yours safe visit the Window Alert website where you can purchase these decals online.

That is a great idea! We’ve had a few bonks (and there’s a perfect bird imprint on one window). My Mom used to put black craft paper ‘crows’ in the window. It looked a little odd, but kept the birds away.
