the best score

9 Feb

I had to drive up to the Williams Lake bus depot to get John’s best friend Dave for the birthday surprise, so I made the trip extra worth my while and hit up a few of my favorite thrift shops. I found a bunch of sweet treats that I may share in a later post, but for now, all I care to talk about is the best score I’ve ever come across: An entire set of 16 hardcover Natural History and Ecology books from 1971 for only 50 cents each! OMG.

SUPER DUPER JEALOUS! But I have to say today I scored some “art material” as well in the forem of two sparrows….exactly what I needed to complete my first national juried art exhibit entry! so nature encyclopedias for you and two dead birds for me….oh AND I found $5 outside the library! LUCKY DAYS AHEAD!!
