vintage air mail rubber stamp set

3 Jan

I vowed to keep my purse-strings tight while visiting Granville Island at the beginning of last month (although those who have been into any of the many fabulous shops there would know how big of a feat this is). For the most part I kept to my promise, but some dollars did manage to escape my wallet while shopping in a few stationery stores… as a mail art¬†aficionado, can you blame me? The biggest splurge I made was on a gorgeous vintage-inspired air mail rubber stamp set that has a dozen gorgeous designs and the juiciest ink pad EVER. You can imagine my grin when I stumbled upon this package. These lovely by-gone-era stamps have given the envelopes of my recent mail art replies, etsy orders and letters, that special extra touch.
