all kinds of animals

8 Nov

I finished another altered book yesterday and this one might be my favorite yet. I know that when I am tempted to keep an art piece for myself it must be a good one. Then again, can you blame me for wanting it on my wall? With a mix of over 35 different North American animals like a wolverine, black bear, hare, moose, turtles, lizards, walrus, otter, stingray, birds, fish and so many more animals, what’s not to love? Honestly, I won’t be surprised if this guy gets scooped up right away at the One of a Kind Show in a month…

This is a great one & I can see why you’d want to sock it away for yourself! what was the process with this one? Did you draw all those animals on the page, silkscreen? So curious!!

Tedious digital collage, gouache, graphite and solvent transfer

That is amazing…..seriously I would buy that. One of the best altered book pages I have ever seen. Have you printed the animal on.
