Cronk in the Cariboo

7 Sep

This past weekend, John and I were blessed with the company of our beloved friend Aaron Cronk. We met Cronk several years ago in Invermere, British Columbia where we forged an amazing friendship on cribbage games, good food and good conversation. The darling took the greyhound bus all the way from Saskatchewan (where he’s currnently living & going to school) to come visit us! A full 24 hour bus ride!!! Brave soul.  Many nights were spent eating elaborate home-cooked meals, drinking beer, playing cards and talking of sports, while days involved relaxing, poker and bike rides around the marsh. I hope he enjoyed his time with us. His energy and beautiful spirit were uplifting and very inspiring to have around. Whenever he isn’t around, he is missed.
