home is where the heart is

14 Aug

I had a wonderful time in the Columbia Valley, as you may already know if you’ve been reading my last month’s worth of blog posts, but I must admit, it feels awfully good to be home. Turning north just after Kamloops is when you start to see the South Cariboo emerge: the dry rolling hills and small mountains with water shinning below it. Seeing that gorgeous landscape yesterday made my heart smile, because I knew I was close to my home, my studio, my boyfriend and a big pile of mail art that were all waiting for me. Waking up this morning I don’t feel any less jubilant: feels so good to be home, all inspired, excited and ready to take on the world.

So glad you’re home & looking forward to seeing what you get up to next! Also looking forward to seeing the huge pile of mail you must have accumulated! (I’m living vicariously through you now)
