midnight merchandising

5 Jun

The fact that it’s June has turned me into a productivity machine! I am launching my etsy shop at the end of this month, I have 5 weeks until my solo exhibition, a month and a half until the big long weekend art tour and I really ought to be at the farmer’s markets now that I finally got my gorgeous business cards, canopy tent and folding table.  So if editioning, packing, merchandising, pricing and inventorying prints, stationery and zines until midnight is what it’s going to take to make everything come together, then you might as well just call me Cinderella.

Cindarella indeed! I’m exhausted just reading your first paragraph! I wish you all the best for all of your upcoming commitments. Your work is beautiful – it’s going to be a great summer for you : )

Every June 1st I go–“What???? Where is the year going??? Aaaack!”
It’s a good pokey stick for me, I guess, although I hate it, too.
Before my first show I worked about 16 hours a day, for a looooong time. But it was worth it. I know yours will be, too.
